The 2010’s: The Biggest Transformation of my Life
Rewind to the start of the last decade and 30th December 2010.
There was an incredible sense of anticipation and excitement as I headed off to live in my new home in Ibiza with my boyfriend, Basil the cat, and as much as we could fit in our 4 wheel drive, to make the white island our main base (whilst we still kept a home & ran businesses in London).
“It’s so amazing, I just don’t want anything to change” I said contentedly over our first meal: a steaming hot paella & a glass of ice cold rose, as I we admired an epic sunset.
Within minutes it had changed in a big way, when my boyfriend, who had said he would never get married, unexpectedly proposed only minutes later.
It didn’t stop there.
Within 6 months I had lost my mother who died suddenly, my father had cancer, the family dynamic I once knew had fallen apart, grief and conflict wracked the family and I was beset by severe allergies.
My husband walked out shortly after we got married and I found myself embroiled in a long and difficult divorce, a divorce that lasted longer than the marriage.
Nor surprisingly my wedding photography business got hit and yes, my income took a hit too.
It went on and on (talk about getting knocked down again & again)
I think you get the picture.
Without a shadow of a doubt it has been the most painful 10 years of my life. There have been epic struggles, a lot of pain, a lot of grief and a lot of loss.
There have been betrayals, disappointments, broken promises and many failures.
So why am I sharing this?
To tell you that no matter what you are going through, or what you have been through, that there is light on the other side.
That the challenges you have been given, would not have been given to you, unless you too had the capability and strength to overcome them.
To tell you that you too have the resilience and strength and ability to overcome anything in your past or your path.
I know firsthand that through those dark nights can come the brightest sunshine, and you can birth a version of you that is a truly incredible soul.
What did these dark nights lead to?
Well, I made a decision to figure this out, and do whatever it took to change my life and create a new experience.
I made a decision, stepped up and invested in myself.
I took risks, made mistakes, prayed, dug deep inside me, failed forwards & recommitted a hundred times over.
In the last 6 years I have achieved more than I ever dreamed possible, including:
Becoming a financially empowered woman who takes full responsibility for creating every area of her life
Awakening my intuitive & psychic abilities
Named one of Martha Stewart Weddings Top Photographers Worldwide
Commissioned to shoot celebrity weddings for the magazine and even got the cover!
Manifesting my dream home in Ibiza twice over, with epic views, all white modern interiors, epic light and luxury interiors.
Uncovering & awakening my intuitive healing abilities, and the amazing power of the unconscious mind.
Creating a whole new money mindset and had my first £15k, then £20k, £30k, £40k, then £50k cash months.
Welcoming amazing new friends into my world.
Welcoming the sweetest furball of pure unconditional love, Teddy Pom Pom into my life.
Having the best sex of my life & experiencing what it feel like to be treated like a true Goddess.
Totally raising the calibre of men I attract.
Learning how to value myself enough and creating the income to uplevel my lifestyle – and to experience the joys and ease of personal trainers, personal stylists, regular manicures, blow dries, holidays at the Four Seasons, business class travel.
Creating a life & business where I can spend summers in LA.
Creating a laptop-based business that allowed me to create a truly free lifestyle and work as as I travel in Bali, Miami, Ibiza, LA, Majorca, Italy & many more places.
Taking true financial responsibility and clearing all my credit card debts.
Becoming a leader to others, leading live workshops, speaking, running online programmes to help others rise and succeed. Serving in a bigger way than ever.
Manifesting miracles, synchronicities and magical moments on a regular basis.
I’m incredibly proud of myself for doing this all single handedly, without any financial support from a partner or family, and without any close emotional support either (and I’m also ready to welcome some more support in please Universe!)
Everything I did, I did through my business, and I am passionate about entrepreneurship as a vehicle for spiritual growth.
Has it always been easy?
Hell, no!
Has it been emotionally, financially & spiritually rewarding beyond my wildest dreams?
Hell, yes!
